CG TET Eligibility Criteria:
For Paper I – Primary Teachers (Class 1st to 5th):
- Must have done Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with no less than 50% marks.
- Those who are appearing in two- year Diploma in Elementary Education and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education can also apply for CG TET 2024.
- Those, who possess 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) are eligible to apply.
- Contenders, who hold 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education), can apply for the exam.
- Applicants with having a valid B.A/B.Sc. degree or a B.Ed. degree with no less than 50% marks can also apply.
For Paper 2- Upper Primary Teachers (Class 6th to 8th):
- Candidates who possess B.A./B.Sc./D.Ed with scoring at least 50% marks are eligible to apply
- Passed or appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/ Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)/four – year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.Sc.Ed/1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)/ B.A.Ed can also apply.

Age Criteria:
Applying candidates should come under the norms of Chhattisgarh Board. Minimum age of candidate must be 18 years and maximum age should be 40 years. Upper age is a commission for reserved category candidates.
- 3 Years for OBC
- 5 Years for SC/ST
- 10 Years for Ex-Serviceman/ PWD
