Kumaun University Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the Kumaun University B.Ed / M.Ed 2024 exam or Kumaun University LLB / LLM 2024 exam you must satisfy below mentioned eligibility criteria.
Kumaun University B.Ed / M.Ed 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
- Students who are appearing for their final qualifying examination are not eligible.
- Those who belongs to the General category should have secured at least 50% marks in their graduation or post-graduation examination. Candidates with even 49.99 percentile are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates belonging to the reserved category (Other backward Class, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe) should have scored at least 45% Marks in their graduation or post-graduation examination. Candidates with percentage 44.99 are not eligible to apply.
- Candidate should not have any criminal record against them.
- Candidates who have been debarred by the University for any reasons will not be eligible.

Kumaun University LLB / LLM 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
For LLB Programme
- Candidates appearing in qualifying examination (U.G. or P.G.) are eligible subject to their U.G. or P.G. Result is declared and available to the University before Admission date of L.LB. Course.
- General and Other Backward Class (OBC) category Candidate should have secured at least 45% Marks in his/her Graduation or Post Graduation level Examination. Candidates with percentage 44.99 are not eligible to apply.
- All other reserved category (Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe) candidate should have secured at least 40% Marks in his/her Graduation or Post Graduation level Examination. Candidates with percentage 39.99 are not eligible to apply.
- Candidate should not have any criminal case (ongoing or convicted in past) against him/her.
- Candidates who have been debarred by the University for using unfair means in any examination and the debarred period is not over are not eligible.
For LLM Programme
- Candidates appearing in qualifying examination (LL.B.) are eligible subject to their LL.B. Result is declared and available to the University before Admission date of LL.M. Course.
- All Candidates (All Categories) should have secured at least 50% Marks in his/her LL.B. Examination. Candidates with percentage 49.99 are not eligible to apply.
- Candidate should not have any criminal case (ongoing or convicted in past) against him/her.
- Candidates who have been debarred by the University for using unfair means in any examination and the debarred period is not over are not eligible
Kumaun University Admission Notification
Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay application fee for the Entrance Examination that is Rs. 1200/- (Rs. Twelve Hundred only). The Fee will be deposited in online mode only through State Bank of India. The Bank charges will have to be paid by candidate to Bank, in addition to the Fee.
Kumaun University Admission Process:
For Kumaun University Admission 2024, selection of individual will be first done on the basis of filled Kumaun University Application Form 2024. Further screened candidates will be called for Kumaun University Entrance exam. On the basis of entrance exam merit list selected candidates will be called for Kumaun University Counselling for final admission in applied course.

Kumaun University M.Ed Exam Scheme:
Kumaun University M.Ed entrance examination will have only one paper. The examination will be an objective type exam. The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours. The questions will be asked in the MCQ form. There will be no negative marking in this examination. The questions will be asked on the topics listed below.
