Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must have passed 10th or equivalent exam with English, Mathematics and Science subjects and should have scored total 35% aggregate and 30% marks in each subject of the qualifying exam.
- There is no upper age limit is prescribed to apply for admission and minimum age limit is 14 years (16 years for Mining & Drilling engineering).

Admission Process:
Contender’ admission in Diploma or Polytechnic courses will be based on their appearance in Odisha Diploma Entrance Exam Followed by counseling procedure.
Odisha DET Exam Pattern:
- Entrance exam will be of objective type in nature.
- There is total 100 questions will be in the final examination.
- Time duration to complete the examination is 150 minutes.
- Each question in the question paper will carry 4 marks and there will be of total 400 marks.
- There will be negative marking for exam i.e 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
