PDPU B.Tech Admission 2024- PDPU is the abbreviation of the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is one of reputed universities of India. It is located in the Raisan Village in the city of Gandhinagar, Gujarat. PDPU has 4 schools which are- School of Liberal Studies, School of Petroleum Management, School of Technology, and School of Petroleum Technology. PDPU offers Under Graduate courses, Post Graduate courses and Doctorate level courses in the filed of Engineering, Management and Humanities. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) is one of the major courses offered by the Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. PDPU annually conducts the Institute level admission procedure. PDPU B.Tech Admission 2024 is tentatively scheduled to start in the 3rd week of April, 2024.
The PDPU B.Tech admission 2024 consists of the Registration process, followed by the application form submission and the submission of the 10+2 marks. After the submission of the application form and the 10+2 marks, the provisional Merit List of all the applying candidates will be created. PDPU Admission 2024: Fee Structure
The following table shows the fee structure of the PDPU B.Tech 2024. The candidates, who will get selected for the B.Tech, M.tech program from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU), will have to pay the following amount of fee for being able to pursue B.Tech:

PDPU Admission 2024: Reservation Criteria
The following are the reservation criteria set for the PDPU B.Tech 2024. Candidates must read this section to know the reservation criteria in order to deduce whether they are eligible for getting the reservation or not. The following table state the reservation criteria set for various reserved groups of candidates.

According to the Reservation Criteria, there will be a reservation for the Scheduled Caste candidates, which will be around 15%. Scheduled Tribe candidates will get a reservation of 7.5% seats out of the total B.Tech 2024 course seats. The physically challenged candidates will be given a seat reservation of 3%. Apart from all this, the girl candidates will be given “Girls Variable Supernumerary Seats (GVSS)” reservation. According to this “Girls Variable Supernumerary Seats (GVSS)” reservation, seats will be added if required in order to assure that at least 10% seats are given the female candidates who will be applying for the PDPU B.Tech 2024 under the All Indian seats and NRI category in each branch.
PDPU Admission Merit List 2024
Once the candidates will successfully submit their application form, the merit list for the PDPU B.Tech admission 2024 will be created sometime in the 2nd week of June, 2024. The merit list will contain the name of candidates according to their All India rank in the JEE Main 2024, in the decreasing order. The merit list for the PDPU B.Tech 2024 will be released through online mode only, i.e., by publishing it in the official website of PDPU. All the candidates who will mange to make it to the Merit List will be called for the counselling. The counselling letter will be downloadable from the official website of PDPU. Students are required to print the counselling letter and carry it to the counselling hall when the counselling will be conducted.
PDPU Counseling 2024
After the issue of the counselling letter, the candidates will have to report to their counselling center according to the given time and date for the counselling session that would be mentioned in the counselling letter. The counselling for the PDPU B.Tech Admission 2024 will be start sometime in the 2nd week of June, 2024. Before the counselling, all the candidates will have to undergo through the registration process. After the registration, the candidates will have to produce their original document of verification.
All the candidates will have to bring the 10+2 Mark sheet and certificate, JEE Main 2024 Admit card & scorecard, caste certificate and every other required important documents for verification. If all the produced documents of the candidates will be original then the candidates will have to do the choice filling of the Course and the colleges. After this the candidates will be allotted seats according to the Merit List created. Once the candidates will pay the admission fee after getting selected for the admission, they will be issued the provisional admission letter.

Eligibility criteria:-
Candidates must have Minimum CPI of 6.5 on a 10 point scale or degree awarded 60% marks GATE score. Candidates can also apply without GATE score card according to related industries qualification.
Selection process : Candidates selection will be focused on Education and research.
Application fee : Candidates are required to pay the Rs. 2000/- application fee by Demand draft in favour of “Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University” payable at Ahmedabad and send along with the application form by registered speed post/courier.

Written Test Date : The PDPU written entrance exam will be held on 21st June 2024.
Interview Date: Candidates who will be successful in written exam they will be called for interview on 21st and 22nd June 2024.
