Mandatory Items for Online Application:
- E-mail Identity
- Cellphone / Mobile Phone Number
- Photograph (Approximate Dimension of Photograph should be 3.5cm X 4.5cm (Width x Height) in a White Background and must be of type JPG.)
- Signature (Approximate Dimension of the Signature should be 4.5cm X 3.5cm (Width x Height). It in White Background in JPG Type.)
- In the case of non-availability of a Digital Photograph / Signature, then the candidates need to visit in person along with Passport size Photo / Signature at the Facilitation Center.
This is to be noted that candidates of only Delhi resident are eligible for the admission in D.El.Ed/ D.El.Ed. (Urdu) (D.Ed/JBT). Facilitation centres which are situated in all GETTIs or DIETs or selected Govt. schools and in all Self Financing Institutes running D.Ed. course.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: All the interested candidates must be 12th (Intermediate) qualified with well and good marks or equivalent qualification from any recognized board or institutions.
- For Diploma in Elementary Education (Urdu)- D.El.Ed. (U): In addition to the qualifications prescribed as above for Diploma in Education
(D.El.Ed), the candidate should have passed Urdu in Secondary (10th class) exam from SCERT delhi or any other board.
- For Diploma in Elementary Education (Urdu)- D.El.Ed. (U): In addition to the qualifications prescribed as above for Diploma in Education
- Age Limit: Candidates are advised to read the official notification regarding this matter.
How to Apply:
All the Eligible and Interested candidates need to apply through online mode via filling the online application form. The Prospectus can be downloaded from the official website. After filling the online form, candidates need to take print out of system generated the application and save for future use.
Steps to Apply Online:
- Firstly, Candidates can apply through only through online application process by log on to the official website www.scertdelhiadmission.nic.in via council website www.scertdelhiadmission.nic.in . After log on to the website fill the application form properly and submit the form.
- After submiting the form, pay the application fee online via one of three modes i.e. Bank Challan, Credit/Debit Card & Net Banking.
- Candidates are required to mention their stream i.e. Science/Commerce/Arts/Vocational) in the online application form.
- Candidates who are applying for D.El.Ed and D.El.Ed (Urdu), village seats and other than village seats, need to apply separately for each stream.
- Candidates are required to upload Documents like recent photograph, Aadhar Card Number and signature while online registration.

Selection Process:
The selection of eligible candidates for D.Ed. Admission in Delhi will be on the basis of the Merit List which will purely be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in 10+2 examination streamwise (Arts, Science, Commerce & Vocational).
