Required Qualification:
Eligible conditions are applicable for only those students who have the desire to take admission in these courses. The applications will be considered valid only when all the below provided conditions are fulfilled by the candidates:
- Students, who’re going to apply for PG programs, they must have Graduation degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- For Animation Cinema, candidates should have proficiency in drawing and those will have the marks sheet of the final examination for bachelor’s degree in their hand before last date of admission as per merit list are eligible to apply.
Application Fee:
Candidates should need to pay Rs. 500/- (For S.C. & S.T. category) and Rs. 2000/- (For other than S.C. & S.T. category) that is paid either through online or offline mode.

Admission Process:
After the successful completion of the written test, the candidates will be shortlisted as per the minimum marks criteria. Students who want o take admission in PG in cinema and PG in Television will be divided into two separate groups. Candidates who wish to pursue Post Graduation in Cinema have to go through the orientation course and those who have the desire to do Post Graduation in Television have to attend the interview. Admission process may be held in consecutive three-days including interactive orientation course.
Distributions of marks in the various stages of selection procedure are:
- Written Test: carries weightage of 25%.
- Interactive Orientation Course: carries weightage of 50%.
- Interview: carries weightage of 25%

How To Submit SRFTI Admission Form?
Students, who are fulfilling above eligibility criteria for Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute Admission, may submit their online application form before the end date.
Step 1) Registration for Online Application
Candidates have to register by visiting the official website of institute which is www.srfti.ac.in. Before you proceed further you must go through the prospectus carefully and collect all the essential details such as mobile number, email id, fee payment method, documents to be uploaded.
Step 2) Filling the application form
Aspirants are required to fill the important personal/ basic information like Basic Details, Application Fee Details, Personal Details, Contact Details and Qualification Details in the application form.
Stage 3) Photograph
Aspirants have to upload the passport size color photograph on the application form. The specification for the photograph is as follows:
