TNSET Exam 2021 Notification – Annamalai University has released Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test Notification for Assistant Professor. Interested Candidates can apply for TN-SET for up to July 2021

TNSET 2024: Mother Teresa Women’s University will conduct the TNSET 2024 Entrance Exam in First Week of March 2024. The Tamil Nadu SET 2024 is conducted to evaluate the eligibility of the Assistant professor in Tamil Nadu universities and colleges.

TNSET Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification Needed:
- Applicants who have secured at least 55% of marks in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi, in subjects like Sciences, Humanities (including languages) etc are eligible to appear for Tamil Nadu SET 2024 / TNSET.
- Applicants who have appeared or will be appearing at the Master Degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also appear for Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test 2024.
Age Limitation:
- There is no upper age limit for applying for TNSET 2024 Examination.

- Contenders are required to pay the examination fee through online mode using Credit/ Debit Card or Net-Banking.

TNSET Selection Process:
- Selection will be done on the basis of performance in the Tamil Nadu SET 2024. There will be 2 rounds: 1st written examination and 2nd personal interview.
- Candidates will first go the written examination and score more than the cutoff marks then only the shortlisted candidates will be called for the final personal interview.

TNSET 2024 Exam Pattern:
- Paper-I will be of General Nature, intended to check the teaching/research aptitude of the Candidate
- Paper-II shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions based on the subject selected by the Candidate
- Paper-III will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the Candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks
