  • The test duration is of two hours
  • The test will be objective type with multiple-choice questions
  • Each question carrying 1 mark

JAO:

  • The written test comprises 100 multiple choice questions for 100 marks
  • Section A (English and Telugu) consists of 80 questions on core subject
  • Section B consists of 20 questions on General Awareness and Numerical Ability, etc

JPO:

  • The written test comprises 100 multiple choice questions for 100 marks
  • Section-A (English and Telugu) consists of 60 questions on Human Resource Management, Industrial Laws, General Laws and Labour Laws, etc
  • Section-B consists of 40 questions on Test of English Language, Computer abilities, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Numerical ability and History related to Andhra Pradesh Culture and Movement

JLM:

  • The written test comprises 80 multiple choice questions for 80 marks
  • Section A consists of 65 questions on core I.T.I subject
  • Section B consists of 15 questions on General Knowledge

SE:

  • The written test comprises 80 multiple choice questions for 80 marks
  • Section A consists of 65 questions on core Diploma subject, i.e., Electrical
  • Section B consists of 15 questions on General Awareness and Numerical Ability

APSPDCL Admit Card 2021

APSPDCL Hall tickets will be available on the official website seven days prior to the exam date. The exam date and time will be provided on the APSPDCL Hall ticket. So, candidates have to download the Andhra Pradesh APSPDCL Hall ticket using the log in details only via online. They will not be sent to the candidates by post and have to be preserved until the final selection.

APSPDCL Exam Centers

The APSPDCL written exam will be conducted in different centres located across the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Instructions To The Candidates For Written Exam

  • You should reach the test centre in time and have to report 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam
  • You will not be allowed into the examination hall after the test has started and will not be permitted to leave the exam hall before the time of the exam under any circumstances
  • A separate OMR (Optical Mark Reader) answer sheet with the carbon impression paper will be provided to the exam takers
  • They have to indicate the response to each question by darkening the appropriate bubble with a black ballpoint pen
  • So, you need to carry a blue/black ballpoint pen
  • After the exam is over, handover the original OMR Sheet to the invigilators in the examination centre and you are permitted to take away the duplicate OMR sheet

APSPDCL Answer Key 2021

The APSPDCL preliminary key will be released on the official’s website within 3 days after the written exam is over. If there are any objections on the preliminary key, you can raise the objections within 3 days from the date of release of the preliminary key.

Andhra Pradesh APSPDCL Cut Off Marks/Qualifying Marks

The minimum qualifying marks in the written test is as follows:

  • OC – 40%
  • BC – 35%
  • SC/ST – 30%
  • PH – 30%

After the completion of the written exam, the authorities will announce the APSPDCL Results on its official portal. You have to enter the valid login details like registration number, date of birth, etc to check APSPDCL Result 2021.

APSPDCL Selection List 2021

  • The officials will prepare a selection list in two parts.
  • First part will consist of 30% of the posts for OPEN comprising combined merit list of local as well as non-locals, and
  • The remaining second part will consist of the balance 70% of the posts comprising only LOCAL and these posts will be filled by following the rules of reservation

APSPDCL Document Verification

  • Candidates will be called for the certificate verification process in 1:1 ratio. At that time, they will be required to furnish the following documents:
  • SSC certificate/Date Of Birth certificate or equivalent for DOB proof
  • Educational qualification  certificates like B.Com/M.Com/CA/ICWA-Inter
  • ITI certificate with marks
  • Permanent community certificate (original) obtained from Govt. of Andhra Pradesh
  • PH certificate (PH-VH, PH-HH, PH-OH) issued by the Government of Andhra Pradesh
  • Study certificate from 4th to 10th class
  • Residential certificate obtained from Govt. of Andhra Pradesh
  • Latest passport size photographs

APSPDCL Training cum Probation

Candidates who have been appointed will be placed on probation for a period of 2 years which includes 1-year training. At the time of joining, you have to submit your original certificates such as date of birth (SSC), degree, caste and study/residence certificates etc. During the training period, you will be paid an initial pay scale with other allowances.

APSPDCL Execution of Service Bond

At the time of joining, you have to execute a bond to serve APSPDCL for a minimum period of 5 years in addition to one year training period. You have to refund the money as prescribed by the officials in both the cases:

  • If you leave the job during the training period
  • If you leave the job without serving a minimum five years after completion of training
