The Border Security Force (BSF) has released the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer/Combatant Stenographer) & Head Constable (Ministerial/Combatant Ministerial) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Warrant Officer (Personal Assistant) & Havildar (Clerk) in Assam Rifles for the year 2024. Recruitment Details

The recruitment process will consist of the following stages:

  1. Physical Standard Test (PST)
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  3. Computer Based Test (CBT)
  4. Skill Test
  5. Document Verification (DV)
  6. Medical Examination (DME/RME)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

  • Candidates must have passed Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
  • The essential educational qualification must be acquired by August 1, 2024.

Application Fee

  • Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred) only.
  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • For male candidates: 1.6 km race in 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • For female candidates: 800 meters race in 4 minutes and 45 seconds.

Computer Based Test (CBT)

The CBT will consist of one paper with 100 objective type multiple choice questions. The exam will be conducted in Hindi and English only. The duration will be 1 hour and 40 minutes.
