DEE Assam Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2024: Apply Online Links Out Here

The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam, has announced a major recruitment drive for the year 2024. This initiative aims to bolster the quality of elementary education across Assam. The recruitment is in line with the Assam Elementary Education (Provincialisation) (4th Amendment) Rules, 2024, and has received government approval as per eFile No. 517326, dated 02/08/2024.

Recruitment Overview

DEE Assam invites online applications from eligible Contractual and State Pool Contractual teachers under Samagra Shiksha Assam (SSA) for 35,133 positions. The vacancies include roles such as Assistant Teacher of Lower Primary, Assistant Teacher of Upper Primary, and Science Graduate Teacher in Upper Primary, with an initial pay scale of Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) ranging from Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/-, plus Grade Pay and other allowances as per “The Assam Service (Revision of Pay) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”.

Conditions of Recruitment

1. Current Employment: Candidates must be working as Contractual and State Pool Contractual teachers under SSA as of 31st July 2024.
2. Service Duration: Candidates must have completed 5 years of continuous service as of 31st July 2024 as Contractual or State Pool Contractual teachers under SSA.
3. Application Mode: Only online applications will be accepted through the official DEE, Assam website (https://dee.assam.gov.in) from 10:00 AM on 6th August 2024 to midnight on 12th August 2024.
4. Offline Applications: Offline applications will not be accepted.
5. Right to Cancel/Postpone: The Director of Elementary Education, Assam reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage without prior notice.
6. Post Category: Candidates must apply for the same category of post they currently hold as Contractual or State Pool Contractual Teachers and can apply for only one post.
7. Required Documents: The list of required documents will be notified on the online portal.

2. TET Selection: Choose between Assam/Central/Other TET from the dropdown.

4. Personal Details:

• Enter your first name.
• Enter your middle and last name.

1. Contact Information:

• Enter your 10-digit mobile number.
• Use your email ID as the user ID.

2. Submit: Ensure all information is correctly entered before submitting the form.
