Eligibility Conditions
Educational Qualification
- Navik (General Duty)
- Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
- Yantrik
- Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by COBSE and a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of 3 or 4 years duration approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
- OR Class 10th & Class 12th passed from an education board recognized by COBSE “AND” a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of 2 or 3 years duration approved by AICTE.
Age
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 22 years
- Candidates should be born between 01 March 2003 and 28 February 2007 (both dates inclusive).
- Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates, applicable only if posts are reserved for them.

Selection Procedure
The selection process includes four stages:
Stage-I: Computer Based Examination
- Document Verification: Candidates’ identities will be checked against their online application details. Required documents include:
- Original Identity proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or Passport)
- Colored printout of E-admit card
Stage-II
- Based on performance in the Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted for Stage-II.
- Assessment and Adaptability Test: OMR-based written examination (qualifying in nature).
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes
- 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak)
- 10 Push-ups
Stage-III
- Medical Examination and other document verifications.
Stage-IV
- Final merit list and training performance assessment.
