ITBP SI Hindi Translator Recruitment 2024

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has announced recruitment for the post of Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator) for the year 2024. Eligible male and female Indian citizens (including subjects of Nepal and Bhutan) can apply for these positions. The recruitment process is entirely online, and the selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India or abroad.

Eligibility Conditions

• Age Limit: Up to 30 years.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; or
  • Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; or
  • Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level; or
  • Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject.

Physical Standards

Medical Standards

• Visual Correction: Not permitted, even by glasses.
• Color Vision: CP III by ISIHARA.
• Binocular Vision: Required.

How to Apply

• Step 1: Visit the ITBP recruitment website: https://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.
• Step 2: Register and create a profile by providing genuine and functional email ID and mobile number.
• Step 3: Fill out the online application form carefully with all required information.
• Step 4: Upload scanned copies of relevant documents.
• Step 5: Pay the application fee of ₹200/- (for UR, OBC, and EWS male candidates) through online mode. Female candidates and Ex-servicemen are exempt from the fee.
• Step 6: Submit the application before the closing date: 26th August 2024, 11:59 PM.

Selection Process

1. Admit Cards: Issued online, mentioning the date and venue of the recruitment test.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates must bring a printout of their online application form and admit card.
3. Document Verification: Submission of original documents/certificates in prescribed format.
