Age Limit and Qualifications

Engineer (Production)

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years.
• Qualification: Full Time Regular Engineering Degree (B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc. Engg) in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/Chemical Process Technology with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates) from AICTE/UGC approved institutions OR AMIE in Chemical Engineering from Government recognized institute.
• Experience: Post qualification 01 year experience in complex continuous process chemical or petrochemical industry/petroleum refinery, production and/or commissioning and/or operation of Ammonia Urea Fertilizer complex.

Engineer (Mechanical)

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years.
• Qualification: Full Time Regular Engineering Degree (B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc. Engg) in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates) from AICTE/UGC approved Institution OR AMIE Mechanical Engineering from Government recognized institute.
• Experience: Post qualification 01 year experience in erection and/or commissioning and/or maintenance of Ammonia-Urea Fertilizer complex, continuous process chemical or petrochemical industry/petroleum refinery power plant.

Engineer (Electrical)

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years.
• Qualification: Full Time Regular Engineering Degree (B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc. Engg) in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates) from AICTE/UGC approved Institution OR AMIE Electrical Engineering from Government recognized institute.
• Experience: Post qualification 01 year experience in erection and/or commissioning and/or maintenance of electrical systems in complex ammonia-urea fertilizer, continuous process chemical or petrochemical industry/petroleum refinery/power plant.

Engineer (Instrumentation)

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years.
• Qualification: Full Time Regular Engineering Degree (B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc. Engg) in Electronics & Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control/Electronics & Communication Engineering with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates) from AICTE/UGC approved Institution OR AMIE.
• Experience: Post qualification 01 year experience in maintenance of instrumentation systems in ammonia-urea fertilizer, continuous process chemical or petrochemical industry/petroleum refinery/power plant.

How to Apply

3. Single Application per Candidate: Only one application per candidate for a particular post is allowed. The details in the online Application Form can be edited/modified before the submission of the application fee or final submission of the online Form. Details once finally submitted cannot be changed under any circumstances. Candidates are strictly advised to ensure that they have filled in the correct particulars & details in the online Application Form before final submission. False declaration shall render the candidate ineligible from this recruitment process.
4. Complete Application: Incomplete online applications shall be summarily rejected.
5. Valid E-Mail ID: Candidates must possess a Valid E-Mail ID which should remain valid for at least one and a half year.
6. Application Process Steps: The following five steps are involved in the application process:

   • Step 2: Filling out the application form.
   • Step 3: Uploading required documents.
   • Step 4: Payment of application fee (if applicable).
   • Step 5: Final submission of the application form.

Important Dates

• Cut-off date for reckoning eligibility for all purposes: 31/05/2024
• Date of opening of online application portal: 11/06/2024
• Last date of submission of online application: 01/07/2024 (unless change in date is notified)

Candidates are advised to submit their online application in time to avoid the last-minute rush. Canvassing in any form is liable to render a candidate ineligible.

Shortlisting & Selection Process

1. Scrutiny of Applications: Based on the information in the Application Form and documents uploaded by the candidates during online submission of their Application Form, scrutiny of applications would be done. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be provisionally shortlisted and called for a personal interview. NFL’s decision regarding eligibility & shortlisting of applications shall be final & binding and no queries or correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
2. Screening Test (if applicable): In case of receipt of a large number of applications, NFL reserves the right to conduct a screening test in Delhi-NCR region and/or any other city(ies) of India for the purpose of short-listing candidates for the interview. Neither TA will be paid nor would boarding & lodging facilities be arranged/reimbursed for appearing in the online test.
3. Interview Process: Candidates are required to qualify in the Personal Interview with a minimum average of 50% marks in the interview. NFL reserves the right to conduct the interview through physical mode/video conferencing mode at its various offices/units.
4. Merit List: In case the total marks (up to two decimals) of two or more candidates after the personal interview are the same, the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination would be considered for drawing up the merit list. In case the percentage of marks (up to two decimals) are also equal in the qualifying examination, the date of birth of the candidates will be considered for preparing the merit list i.e. the candidate born earlier will be considered as senior in the merit list.
