Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility will be provisional based on the details provided in the online application. The RRB will not undertake detailed scrutiny of applications before the exam; thus, candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications, age, and medical standards.
Age Limit
The age limit for the Nursing Superintendent post is between 20 and 43 years as of January 1, 2025. Candidates must carefully check the age criteria for each post they are applying for.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination based on their merit in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Normalization of marks will be done for CBT held in multiple shifts. The shortlisted candidates will be notified via official RRB websites, SMS, and email.
Examination Details
- Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for every wrong answer in the CBT.
- Exam Duration: 90 minutes for 100 questions (120 minutes for PwBD candidates using a scribe).
- Question Format: Objective type with multiple-choice questions.
- Subjects: The question paper will include sections on Professional Ability, General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Science.

Medical Fitness Standards
Candidates will need to pass the requisite medical fitness tests as conducted by the Railway Administration. Visual acuity is particularly important for railway service. Below are the medical standards required:
