RRC Apprentice Recruitment
The West Central Railway (WCR) has announced the recruitment of apprentices for various trades under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligible candidates are invited to apply online for 3317 slots across multiple divisions and workshops. Here are the key details:

Eligibility Conditions
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 15 years (as on 05/08/2024)
- Maximum Age: 24 years (as on the cut-off date of the notification)
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
- For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology & Radiology) trades, candidates must have passed 12th class examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology and possess the National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Mode of Selection
- Merit List: Based on the average marks obtained in the 10th class examination and ITI/Trade marks.
- Verification of Documents: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- Final Selection: Final merit list will be prepared trade-wise, division/unit-wise, and community-wise.
Application and Processing Fee
- For General Candidates: Rs. 141/- (Rs. 100/- as Application Fee and Rs. 41/- as Processing Fee)
- For SC/ST, PwBD, and Women Candidates: Rs. 41/- (Processing Fee only)
Payment Procedure:
- Log in and click on “click here to pay”.
- Select “Pay now” and choose a payment option.
- Complete the transaction and save/print the e-receipt.
- If the transaction fails, try making the payment again.
Required Documents for Online Application
- Std 10th mark sheet and Pass Certificate
- Std 12th mark sheet and Pass Certificate (for Medical Laboratory Technician trades)
- Community certificate (if applicable)
- PwBD certificate (if applicable)
- ITI certificate & mark sheet issued by NCVT/SCVT
