The Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) invites applications for the recruitment of Patient Care Managers (PCM) and Patient Care Coordinators (PCC) on a contractual basis. This recruitment is for deployment at AIIMS, Jammu, as per the reference email dated 30.07.2024. Interested candidates are required to apply offline, following the guidelines mentioned below.

1. Patient Care Managers (PCM)

• Number of Posts: 04
• Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- (Approx.)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences (such as Botany, Zoology, Bio-technology, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, Bio-informatics, Physiology, Biochemistry, Biology, etc.)
• Full-time Post-Graduation Qualification in Hospital or Healthcare Management from a recognized university.
• Experience:
• At least one year of experience in a hospital after acquiring the required qualifications.
• Age Limit:
• Not more than 40 years on the date of joining.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Managing patient care coordinators.
• Ensuring full attendance of PCCs and arranging replacements in case of absenteeism.
• Acting as the first point of escalation for issues reported by PCCs.
• Managing patient movement from waiting areas to respective OPDs or emergency units in batches.
• Overseeing the implementation of National Health Schemes and overall process management.

2. Patient Care Coordinators (PCC)

• Number of Posts: 19
• Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 21,000/- (Approx.)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
• Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences (preferred) or any other field.
• Relevant fields include Botany, Zoology, Bio-technology, Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, Bio-informatics, Physiology, Biochemistry, Biology, etc.
• Experience:
• At least one year of experience in a hospital after acquiring the required qualifications.
• Age Limit:
• Not more than 35 years on the date of joining.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assisting and guiding patients in a compassionate manner.
• Ensuring the smooth functioning of the process workflow.
• Managing seating arrangements in OPD, daycare, emergency, and OT waiting areas.
• Operating access control scanners and kiosks.
• Supporting the implementation of National Health Schemes and providing navigational support to patients.

Selection Process:

• Selection will be based on the prescribed norms and job requirements.
• Preference will be given to local candidates and those with relevant work experience.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending tests, document verification, personal interactions, or joining duties.
