National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Results 2024 has been declared today, on October 16, 2024 at 12:22 P.M. However, the result was expected to be announced on 12th October, 2024 but now it is being announced a bit letter. According to the official notification released by CBSE, NEET 2024 Results have been released on the official website i.e. cbseneet.nic.in as well as cbseresults.nic.in on 16th October, 2024.

There were a total number of 15.97 lakhs candidates who had registered for NEET 2024 at 2,255 examination centers.Out of total registered aspirants, over 13 lakhs aspirants have appeared. It was conducted by CBSE on Sun, 13 Sep, 2024. NEET 2024 was conducted in 11 languages. On 4th October, 2024, CBSE had released the Answer Keys and OMR Sheets for the same. The counseling process will now be initiated as the results are finally out.

NEET 2024 Results Today: Counselling Process for 15% All India Quotas

The counseling for NEET (UG)-2024 admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in Government Medical Colleges as well as Private Colleges will be conducted by Medical Counseling Committee(MCC). The schedule for UG counseling will be soon released by MCC on the official website mcc.nic.in.

All Candidates appearing in NEET (UG)–2024 must be in touch with the websites of CBSE, MOHFW, Medical Counseling Committee (www.mcc.nic.in) and Participating States/Institutions/Universities till the final conclusion of final round of Counseling.

Students are required to apply for online counseling. Counseling for Central Universities/Deemed Universities/Seats of ESIC & AFMC including BHU & AMU will be conducted by the MCC/DGHS. The eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of the eligible candidates shall be verified by the respective authorities. Students would then have an alternative to exercise their decisions.

How to check the NEET Result 2024 Name Wise ?

Go to the official NEET website: cbseneet.nic.in
Click on the link, ‘NEET Results 2024’
Enter the required information viz. name, Seat Number, Date of Birth etc.
After submitting, the results would be displayed on the screen
You are advised to take a printout of the same for future reference.

A total of seven lakh fourteen thousand and five hundred and sixty two (7,14,562) aspirants have qualified in NEET 2024. There are, however, only 61,000 medical seats in India distributed amongst 476 Medical colleges.

It is also advised that those candidates scoring between 119 to 300 from UR and 96 to 250 from other categories to immediately opt for a seat and college of their choice since seats are limited and you may have to compromise on your choice at a later date.

To all those having higher marks but keen to prefer Foreign Colleges over Private colleges In India, you can also come and register. In case you get a Medical college of your choice in India your fees will be refunded.

How to download the Rank Card?

NEET is an MCQs based examination which tests the candidates essentially in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is time based examination, which is usually conducted in a pen and paper (Offline) mode. The important details regarding the exam pattern are given below:

Candidates who are selected for the 15% All India Quota seats can download their NEET 2024 rank cards by following the following procedure:

You would be directed to a login window for downloading the rank card.
You must enter your NEET registration number, NEET roll number, Date of Birth (in the required format).
Click on Submit.
