Konkan Railway Group D Exam Pattern

Computer Based Examination

• Nature of the Exam: The CBT is of screening nature and the standard of questions for the CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational standards as mentioned.
• Type of Questions: objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to Common General Awareness.
• five languages: Hindi/English/Marathi/Kannada/Konkani for answering CBT.
• Negative marking: 1/3rd of the marks for incorrect answers in CBT.
• The minimum percentage of marks required to qualify: UR -40%, OBC-NCL/SC/ST – 30%.,PWD (UR-38 %, Others-28%).

Physical Efficiency Test for KRCL Jobs

• Male: Should be able to run a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
• Female: Should be able to run a distance of 400 meters in 3 minutes and 10 seconds in one chance.
• Candidates equal to the number of vacancies who qualify in PET will be called for DV.
• Extra 50% of the number of vacancy who qualify in PET will also be called for DV as a stand by.
• PET is qualifying in nature.

Konkan Railway Junior Engineer Exam Pattern 2024

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited has decided to conduct KRCL JE exam for the recruitment of eligible candidates. Applicants who will submit their online application from before the last date will become able to participate in the exam. Aspirants may start their preparation according to KRCL Exam Pattern given on this page.

• The questions containing in exam will be based on objective.
• There will be multiple choice questions which will containing 4 options from which one will be the right answer.
• The total no of questions will be 150.
• Each question will carry 1 mark.
• There will be negative marking also, 1/3 mark will be deduct from the right answer mark for attempt wrong answer.
• Total time will be allotted to students will be of 1:30 hrs.
• The Descriptive type paper is of 50 marks and Professional 35 marks.
• Proficiency in English Language (Precise writing and comprehension) is 15 marks.
• The total marks obtained out of these 200 marks will be changed to 100 as the full mark.
