NEET SS 2024 result PDF will mention the candidate’s roll number, the total score obtained (out of 400), and merit rank. Only candidates securing the NEET SS cut off percentile will be considered qualified in the entrance exam. NEET SS cut off 2024 is 50th percentile irrespective of all categories.
The cutoff scores for NEET SS 2024 will be announced along with the result for 32 super-specialities. Only qualified aspirants, as per the NEET SS results can download the scorecard from natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in. In order to download the NEET SS scorecard 2024, candidates have to enter the user ID and password. The validity of the NEET SS 2024 result is for one year.
Based on the NEET SS 2024 result, eligible candidates will be called for the counselling process. Through NEET SS results, 2,447 Doctor of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) seats will be filled in 156 government and private medical colleges/universities/deemed universities and Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) institutions. The merit list will be published by the NBE on the basis of marks which will be obtained by the candidates in the examination. There will be no equating/scaling or normalization. The merit list will be published separately for all the super speciality courses. The candidates who will secure 35 percentile will be considered qualified for admission.
Tie-breaking criteria: In cases where two or more than two candidates obtain same marks, the following tie breaking criteria will be applied:
Candidate who has lesser number of wrong answers will be placed on the higher rank
Candidate who has the higher score in Part B will be placed on the higher rank.
Candidate who has lesser number of wrong answers in Part B will be placed on the higher rank.
The candidate who is older will be placed on the higher rank.
After the declaration of merit list, the counseling process will begin. The candidates who will get qualified in the examination will then have to attend the counseling process. The process of counselling will be conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India.
Validity of NEET SS 2024 Result
The candidates must note that the result of NEET SS 2024 will be valid for the admission session of 2024 for DM/MCh courses. The result of previous year will not valid for admission of current year.
The registrations of admissions to DM/MCh courses are conducted by Post Graduate Medical Educational Regulations which is issued by the Medical Council of India with approval from Central Government and the Judgements of Honourable Supreme Court of India.

NEET SS 2020 Cutoff Revised
As per the recent notice, the result of NEET SS 2020 has been revised. NEET SS cutoff 2020 has been lowered to 45th percentile. NEET SS 2020 cutoff scores equivalent to the reduced percentile has been released. NEET SS cut off 2020 has been reduced to fill the remaining vacant seats after the counselling process is over. As per the notice, no change in NEET SS rank will be made. So, the candidates who have secured the revised NEET SS 2020 cut off percentile and score will be considered qualified. NEET SS Cutoff 2024
The cut-off of NEET SS 2024 is the minimum required percentile which must be obtained to qualify NEET SS entrance examination. NEET SS result cutoff percentile for all category candidates is 50th.

Publication of Merit List of NEET SS 2024
NEET SS result 2024 – Validity
Aspirants seeking NEET SS 2024 admission should know about the validity of declared results. The validity of the NEET SS result shall be only for the current admission session i.e. 2024-22 admission session for DM/ M.Ch and DNB Super Specialty courses. The NEET SS result 2024 cannot be carried forward for the next session of admissions for DM/MCh and DNB Super Specialty courses. Aspirants must note that the registration of NEET SS 2024 admissions for DM/M.Ch courses is governed by Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2000 issued by the Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Central Government and the Judgments of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
NEET SS Merit List 2024
The authority will release the merit list of NEET SS separately for each super speciality course. It is to be noted that the NEET SS merit list 2024 will be strictly made on the grounds of the marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam. Those candidates who obtain 50th percentile and more in the exam will only be considered qualified for admission to various super speciality courses.
NEET SS result tie-breaking method 2024
In a situation where one or two candidates obtain the same number of marks in the NEET SS 2024 exam, the authority will imply a tie-breaking method mentioned in the table below.

NEET SS Counselling 2024
The authority will conduct the NEET SS 2024 counselling for the qualified candidates after the declaration of the result. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET SS 2024 counselling in the online mode. Therefore, NEET SS aspirants will have to register themselves for the counselling prices and upload the requisite documents. Only after the successful completion of NEET SS counselling process and submission of fees, admission to various DM/MCh super speciality courses will be granted.
