NIMCET Syllabus:GENERAL ENGLISH: (20 questions)
Questions in this section will be designed to test the candidates’ general understanding of the English language. There will be questions in NIMCET Syllabus on the following topics:
- Comprehension
- Vocabulary
- Basic English Grammar (like usage of correct forms of verbs, prepositions and articles)
- Word power
- Synonyms and Antonyms
- Meanings of words and phrases
- Technical writing
MCA Entrance Exam Pattern
- NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET 2024) exam will be conducted for Two hours.
- The question paper will contain 120 multiple choice questions (MCQs) with four choices for each individual question.
- Multiple Choice Questions will be written in English Language only and will not be translated into any other language.
- The duration of NIMCET examination is 2 hours
- The question paper will be divided amongst four subjects in the following pattern:

NIMCET Marking Scheme
- Applicants will get four marks for each correct answer, whereas each negative answer will amount to Negative One mark.
- Contenders should not to attempt such questions if they are not sure of the correct answer.
- More than one answer indicated against a question will be negatively marked.
- The candidates have to mark the responses in the OMR sheet using black or blue ink ball point pen only.
