THEORY OF EQUATIONS Polynomial Equations with real Coefficients – Irrational roots – Complex rootsSymmetric functions of roots – Transformation of equation by increasing or decreasing roots by a constant – Reciprocal equations – Newton’s method to find a root approximately – Simple problems.
