On the behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Osmania University conducts TS PGECET, state level entrance examination to offer admission into regular PG courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, and Pharmacy, Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) courses.

- TS PGECET 2024 will be held in online mode
- The paper of TS PGECET 2024 will have objective type, multiple choice questions (MCQs) wherein the candidates have to choose 1 correct answer out of the 4 answer options available.
- The entrance test will be held for time duration of 2 hours (Morning and Afternoon session) wherein the candidates have to answer a total of 120 questions.
- GATE qualified candidates need not to appear in TS PGECET 2024. They can directly apply for admission to M.Tech programmes based on their GATE scores. During admission too, GATE qualified candidates will be given preference over non-GATE candidates.
- Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- It should be necessary for applicants to secure TS PGECET Cut-Off Marks to be eligible for admission. The Osmania University sets the cut-off criteria of 25% marks for unreserved category applicants. There is no minimum mark for the applicants belonging to reserved category.
