West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test comprises of 150 multiple choice questions which applicants need to attempt in 90 minutes duration. WBTET comprises of two papers.

Latest Update: As Per News, the WB TET 2024 will be organized for about 30,000 Posts in the state of West Bengal. In a meeting with Primary Education Board President Anik Bhattacharya in Kolkata, Education Minister of Kolkata, Partha Chatterjee declared the changes in WB TET Eligibility Criteria, adding that applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for WB TET 2024 Exam online. Applicants must have completed a two-year Teacher Training Course or secure at least 50% in their Higher Secondary Examinations.

WB TET Syllabus

There are two papers conducted for Teacher Eligibility Exam. The first paper is compulsory for those candidates who wish to work in the lower primary levels and second paper is compulsory for all those candidates who wish to work in upper primary levels.

WB TET Exam Pattern

The Exam is held in two parts, Paper I and Paper II. A Paper I is conducted to hire the teachers for class 1 to 5th and II is conducted to hire the teachers for class 6 to 8th.
