DR PUNJABRAO DESHMUKH SCHOLARSHIP 2024
The Maharashtra Directorate of Medical Education Research has established the Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Scholarship. Children of registered labour are eligible for the Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship. The Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship 2024 is open to students pursuing Technical, Professional, or Non-Professional Degrees at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.

Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Scholarship is started by the Directorate of Medical Education Research of Maharashtra. The Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship Benefits the children of registered labour. Students who are pursuing Technical, Professional, or Non-Professional Degrees at graduation or post-graduation level can apply for the Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship 2024.

ELIGIBILITY
The Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarship 2024 eligibility criteria are stated below.
- Students must be Maharashtra residents.
- The annual income of the family is less than Rs.8,000,000.
- For pupils whose parents are registered labourers (Alpabhudharak Shetkari).
- Applicants must be enrolled in government-aided/Corporate/Private un-aided colleges for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPTH, BOTH, B.SC Nursing, BUMS, BP&O, BASLP.

For the child of Registered Labour/Alpabhudharak (Marginal Land Holder):
- For institute in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City – INR 30,000 for 10 months
- For institutes in other areas – INR 20,000 for 10 months
For the child of the family where the annual income is not more than 1 Lakh:
- For institute in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City – INR 10,000 for 10 months
- For Institute in other areas – INR 8,000 for 10 months
For the child of the family where the annual income is more than 1 Lakh but less than 8 Lakh:
- For institute in MMRDA/PMRDA/Aurangabad City/Nagpur City – INR 10,000 for 10 months
- For Institute in other areas – INR 8,000 for 10 months
For Non-Professional Courses:
- For the child of the family where the annual income is not more than 1 Lakh – INR 2,000 for 10 months
Under Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance (family income less than INR 8 Lakh):
- Scholars will receive INR 3,000 per annum (for 10 months in an academic year) if studying in Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad
- Scholars will receive INR 2,000 per annum (for 10 months in an academic year) if studying in other locations

a mark sheet from the previous year - Registered laborers/aplabhudarak shetkari must present a proof letter signed by the tahsildar and a copy of their parents’ income certificate.
- Student’s PAN card (optional), Father’s PAN card, and Mother’s PAN card HSC and SSC mark sheets are required for new candidates.
ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS – 2024

- From the home page, select Apply.
- Select New Applicant Registration from the drop-down menu.
- Register after filling out all of the required information and verifying your email and phone number.
- The Aadhaar authentication procedure will be carried out using either an OTP or a biometric.
- Enter the OTP received by SMS or email.
- Username and password are required to log in.
- Fill out the Application Form in the new tab.
- Scanned documents should be uploaded.
- Then press the Submit button.
- Take the application form in physical copy.
